I found some joy in the local eats—Pizza Hut's just a hop away for a cheesy indulgence, and the fluffy white rice at Waffle House? Pure comfort! Although the outside access to the rooms was convenient, it’s those local nuggets that truly made my stay worth a mention.
Now, let's not sugarcoat it, the bugs were a major bummer, and the cleanliness? Let's say it left much to be desired.

Outside access was the only redeeming feature.

Relax Inn served as a decent spot during my stay. The clean room made a positive first impression, and the owner, Perry, really cares about the well-being of guests. He even worked with us on pricing when we faced unexpected circumstances. The Wi-Fi connection was solid, which made it easy to plan our next outings. The old charm of the place provided a unique atmosphere, but there were some noticeable issues. The room showed signs of wear with peeling wallpaper and stained carpeting. Limited TV channels were a downside too, causing some boredom during downtime. Additionally, the heating system was a bit finicky and could use an upgrade. Breakfast options were minimal, and the lack of dining choices nearby made planning meals a little tricky. Despite these issues, the warm and attentive service from the staff kept us comfortable and tended to our needs. It's a basic spot, but one worth considering for budget travelers. Just be prepared for a few quirks.

8/10
The place ain’t fancy, but it gets the job done. That owner Perry? He’s a good guy—really cares about keepin' it safe. We felt right at home, and the housekeeper? Wicked friendly! We did struggle with the TV channels a bit, though, could use an upgrade.

We had a wonderful time at the inn with our three grandkids. The clean rooms were perfect for our stay, and we enjoyed relaxing together while surfing the web for places to explore. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive to our needs.
My wife says that having more dining options nearby would have been great for families.

Just a fitting option for a brief stop-in in Richmond with outstanding value for money. The owner was super helpful in finding us a better room when we had a small issue. Bring some snacks since there are no dining options nearby.

This place suits me perfectly, providing excellent Wi-Fi, free parking, and non-smoking rooms. On my first stay, the staff helped me find my lost car keys, which I appreciated. I highly recommend staying here for a romantic escape.

Check-in was smooth, and the staff displayed genuine care, helping me find a safe spot for my family’s car. However, the room didn’t meet expectations, akin to a bare-bones setup lacking basic comforts. Limited TV channels and noisy neighbors disrupted our stay, while the absence of dining options was disappointing. Fruit salads were a refreshing choice for breakfast, but that alone couldn’t elevate the overall experience.
